Homeschool Explorers

Animals in Winter:  Migration, Adaptation & Hibernation

Join us Mondays in December for learning and fun with science-based activities!  Reading aloud from L.R. Hanson's book, Winter Survival: Animal Hibernation, Migration, and Adaptation, session participants will learn some of the strategies used by animals to survive and even thrive during the winter months.  We will reinforce participants learning of these strategies by playing a fun game.  This activity, led by experienced facilitators, is designed for 1st through 5th grade students and begins at 11:30 a.m.  Guardians should remain on-site and supervise their child during play and picnic times (12:15 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.).  Don't miss out on this enriching and exciting opportunity.
