Homeschool Explorers
Creepy Crawlers: Decomposers Lesson
Join us Mondays in October for learning and fun with science-based activities! In this 30-45 minute science-in-nature activity students will discover how a dead tree or log provides a habitat for a variety of wildlife and the interrelationship among those creatures making it home. We will cap off this activity by making our very own edible 'dirt sundae'. This activity, led by experienced facilitators, is designed for 1st through 5th grade students, and begins at 11:30 a.m. Guardians should remain on-site and supervise their child during play and picnic times (12:15 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.). Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity.
