History Detectives

Join us Mondays in January for learning and fun at Camp Discovery!  During this history in nature hike we will investigate the family who originally lived at Camp Discovery by visiting their graveyard and taking rubbings of the grave informaiton.  We will follow clues to discover the site of a former lake - what was it used for?  And finallly, we will solve the mystery of the farmstead.  Where was it built and what clues led us to suspect the location?  This activity, led by experienced facilitators, is designed for 1st through 5th grade students and begins at 11:30 a.m.  Guardians should remain on-site and supervise those in their care during play and picnic times (12:15 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.)  Don't miss out on this enriching and exciting opportuntity!
